Chris and Chelsea

Chris and Chelsea said their I do’s in Chris’ family apple orchard. It was a very scenic wedding with views of neighbouring orchards and vineyards in sunny Summerland. After the ceremony we all made our way down to La Punta Norte B&B for the reception. The Cheddarbooth made it’s first lake-side appearance and although we didn’t see Ogopgo we did have a blast taking some great pictures (Even the caterers got in on the action!)  I also enjoyed second shooting this wedding for my wife Mikaela Ruth. Risa - Those are hilarious! Maybe we should get married again…

Shane - my thoughts exactly!

Marcus and Stephanie

Marcus and Stephanie tied the knot at the beautiful Rowena’s Inn on the River. I was fortunate to be able to shoot their wedding with my lovely and talented wife Mikaela Ruth. To see the full wedding day and lots of beautiful pictures check out her blog post here. The wedding party was definitely stylish which was to be expected. Dustin from Launch Menswear (Marcus’ best man and business partner) actually styled me and my groomsmen for my own wedding last October and he didn’t disappoint this time either. The CheddarBooth was set up in the woods using our gold Spangled backdrop. To Marcus and Stephanie’s surprise there were mini cut-out versions of each of them supplied by the wedding party for use in the pictures. Needless to say many crazy/interesting photos followed.  To see more photos from their photobooth check out the album on our Facebook page. Congrats Marcus and Stephanie!

Hello World!

I’m thrilled and excited (and maybe a bit nervous) to be sharing some exciting news with you.  I will be joining the blogging world to bring you, my friends, family and readers, some fun and entertaining content.  So how will I do this?   Glad you asked.

Here’s the story:

For those of you that have known me growing up, you know that I am detail oriented and love to be creative and silly.  Fast forward to two years ago when I first went out for a coffee date with my beautiful wife.  Mikaela is a talented wedding photographer.   Now that we are married, photography is a BIG part of both of our lives.  She has an eye for and loves all the pretty details as most girls do.  This can be seen on her wonderful blog.  I on the other hand, while still appreciating those “pretty details” and “lovely pictures” am drawn to those fun/crazy and often silly ones.

For the the last two years Mikaela and I have attended the WPPI Convention in Las Vegas.  For those of you that aren’t photographers this is the largest professional photography convention in North America.  Last February we were particularly impressed with a photobooth company that has proven to be the best of the best in the industry.  We were so impressed that we decided to put down a deposit and get our names onto the waiting list!  Now after months of anxiously waiting we have added a new member to the Bradley household!  His name is Linus and he’s not even 3 weeks old!  ;)

I will be bringing Linus to weddings, parties, business promotions, you name it!  Basically, anywhere there is fun waiting to happen.  Our business name is CheddarBooth (say cheese) and you will be seeing a lot more of us in the near future!

Shane :)

Ps: Make sure to “like” and follow us on Facebook for exclusive deals, giveaways, contests and of course aahhhmaaaazing pictures!!

Corinna - Shane, what a great way to make wedding photobooths even more stand-out-ish. I love the quality of the shots, and it was interesting to see pics of Linus, too, and how the whole get-up works.

I truly hope all your effort and investment pays off- I’m sure it will. And I’m sure that the couples getting married will so appreciate all the crazy pics of their guests in years to come.

Jimmie - Thats awesome shane! Linus seems like a swell guy ;) Congrats to you both.
